Posted by Missy W. @ 1:26 PM
It’s GHM Giveaway time!
This GHM Giveaway (and 10% off coupon code!) is sponsored by Paper Shouts, one of my favorite new note card lines.
See contest details after the jump. This contest is now closed. Congrats to winner Kat!
Today, Paper Shouts, provider of posh notes for life’s big moments announced that a percentage of their proceeds from holiday cards will benefit Our City Forest (OFC) , an organization created to cultivate a greener, healthier urban environment and a renewed sense of community through planting, and care of the urban forest. To help spread the word about the contest and giveaway, Paper Shouts would like to offer our readers a $50 gift certificate that can be used to purchase any paper goods – holiday cards, birth announcements, party invitations, personalized note cards, etc. Paper Shouts’ holiday cards are made of 100 percent Post Consumer Waste (PCW) recycled paper. Working with OFC will help support Paper Shouts’ mission - being eco-friendly as well as socially aware.
How To Enter:
GHM readers need to go to Paper Shouts and note on OUR site which holiday card you like best as well as note your favorite green initiative, product, or green tip.
Winner will be selected at random.
In addition, Paper Shouts is offering our readers 10% off on all holiday orders. Promotion code: gearhead
Just enter a comment below (after visiting Paper Shouts), and make sure to enter your email so we can contact you when you win (it’s never shared, sold, rented, nor will others be able to view it).
Contest ends Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at midnight PST.
Contest is open to U.S. residents only. See here for full GHM Giveaway rules.
Thanks for entering! Good Luck! I can’t wait to order some cards for myself!

I like the “traditional” card featured in part because the message is the all-inclusive “Happy Holidays.” They are lovely cards!
My current fave way to be green/go green is to patronize local farmers for produce—ordering from a nearby organic farm and purchasing goods from our Farmers’ Market.
