Lovely, Lovely Dresses : Lesley Evers
Posted by Missy W. @ 8:08 AM
Oh you know how I love to support Mama-Run-Businesses!
I saw a woman wearing the loveliest dress the other day. It looked familiar to me and I realized it was the same maker as the Audrey, a dress I’ve been coveting for months. I finally learned the brand (thank you lady wearing dress) and now I have to tell you all about it.
Lesley Evers’ dresses are incredibly well-made and just the prettiest, retro vibe-ist creations I’ve laid my eyes on in a long time. The best part is that they seem to look good on just about any figure. And for those of us who’ve had a few children…well, a dress that looks good on all of us is sadly few and far between. Evers also designs tunics and skirts. I love tunics over jeans, don’t you? The pieces are available from San Francisco to London, as well as online.
The dress pictured above is the Tilda. It’s not on the site yet, but will be available for Spring, both in the US and the UK. Gorgeous, isn’t it?
I emailed Lesley to ask a bit about her dresses and she mentioned that her business is based in Northern California. So if you happen to live anywhere near Berkeley, their office is open for shoppers on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There are always pieces on sale as well as seconds for great prices with great inventory. Lucky Berkeley-ites! The address is 1250 9th street, but the door is on the Gilman side of the building. The entrance is unmarked- there is an LE photo in the tinted black glass door. Their phone number 510-526-3851.
I am going to order myself a dress after I finish breast-feeding. I promise to tell you how fabulous it is.

I have a friend who is really good buddies with Lesley and I’m always getting Sample Sale/End of Season bargain bonanza sale info from her. This woman is 5’5” and as slim as a gazelle, so I thought these weren’t the dresses for me, but I’ll reconsider based on your post.
And now I must go watch some Hulu—heck, it’s 1:40 AM, what else would I be doing?
