Raising Baby Green: The Earth-Friendly Guide to Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Baby Care (Jossey-Bass/Wiley; 2007; $16.95) is the most comprehensive, up-to-date guide for parents on how to raise happy babies “green,” that is, in a manner that is healthy for them and also for the earth.
It’s great to get to give away some of my favorite things! I think it’s non-preachy and has some solid advice in it. I like that the format reads like a reference book, therefore it’s quite easy to find the information you are looking for, from nursery furniture to gardening advice.
