Sassy Gearhead

I lose things a lot. I lose my credit cards (thanks for hiding them under the rug, Sy!). I lose my Kiehl’s lip balm. I lose my personality.

So on the rare chance that I do remember to attempt looking put together, I throw my favorite, fabulous little Eyes Lips Face lip gloss sticks in my purse. Since they are only one dollar a piece, I don’t worry about it sliding under the carseat or into Sy’s grubby little hands. Yeah, you heard me right. One dollar a piece, people!

I found out about this stuff through a friend and then subsequently Oprah’s O magazine showed me the light. Shipping is not that expensive and I honestly bought ten last time. I give them away, lose them, put them in every bag. Love it.

It’s also great to get your kid a set of brushes for their own dress up. At a dollar a pop, it’s much better than letting them use your own.

• They taste fabulous, last forever, and look just as great as the overpriced lip gloss from Stila that I got at Sephora, PB (pre-baby).
• Just don’t kiss your kid while wearing it because your lips will stick to her head.
